As long as I can remember I have had a passion and appreciation for nature. Some of my earliest and fondest memories growing up in Medicine Hat, Alberta, are of spending long days wandering and exploring the prairies, coulees, and the South Saskatchewan river valley.
I took up photography in the mid 70's and also did some processing and darkroom work of my own. Other life events and commitments took me away from photography somewhat, however I still retained a keen interest in nature, especially birds. A few years ago I took the plunge back into photography and switched over to digital.
The prairies of Southern Alberta are an amazing and beautiful place, teeming with birds and other wildlife which I hope to be able to show through my photography.
